Claudia Giugni, a 19 year-old and aspiring opera soprano, was raised in the USA and has been studying voice since she was just eight years old. Claudia discovered her passion for opera at a very early age and has been studying with voice instructor and adjunct professor in music Dr. Sally Brown from Florida Atlantic University and is coached by the renowned, legendary, Prima Donna soprano Madame Virginia Zeani.
The young soprano has also had the opportunity to be selected to represent the roles of Barbarina from Le Nozze Di Figaro as well as Bastienne from Bastienne und Bastien at the ages of 13 and 14, in performances produced by opera company The Opera Atelier Miami in 2013. She also received The Renee Greenberg Award to participate in opera company Opera Fusion's Summer Young Artist Program to perform the role of Sally from Die Fledermaus in 2015 and The Neil & Morgan Kapneck Award to perform scenes as Nanetta in Falstaff and Annina in La Traviata in 2017. . In 2017, she performed the role of Lauretta in a North Broward Preparatory School production of Gianni Schicchi and in 2018 she performed the role of Gretel in Hansel and Gretel. She has also participated in the Student Recitals of the Intracoastal Chapter of NATS since 2010. In summer of 2016, Claudia attended the Vocal Academy for High School Students at Oberlin Conservatory of Music and this past summer attended the Washington National Opera Institute at American University.
She has been invited to perform at events promoting 89.7 Classical South Florida radio station and The Venetian Arts Society in Palm Beach. Claudia is the youngest member of The Venetian Arts Society and was the youngest member of the former Classical South Florida station while she collected funds to donate and give back to the station from 2012-15. She also did testimonies on the air for their fundraiser drives. Claudia had the privilege of being interviewed by Miami's hispanic radio station Radio Mambi on air and was featured on the television station Telemundo. In 2015, Claudia placed the Honorable Mention in "Viva La Zarzuela" concert and competition hosted by Opera Fusion and Maestro Borja Mariño at Florida International University's School of Music. The singer has also participated in the national Hal Leonard Voice Competition, where she placed the Honorable Mention Award in 2016, as well in the From The Top Jack Kent Cook Young Artist Award Competition and the Young Arts national competition. Claudia also received the Encouragement Award in the Schmidt Youth Vocal Competition this Summer 2017 in Washington D.C.

Claudia has played the flute since the age of 11, and continues to study piano along with voice. At school, she is the president of the first chapter of Tri-M Music Honor Society at her school and president of her advanced high school choir. She has attended various master classes from artists such as Madame Virginia Zeani, Phyllis Bryn-Julson, Leona Mitchell, Dean Peterson, Maestro Borja Mariño, Maestro Vincenzo Spatola, and Renata Scotto . Some of her biggest musical inspirations include Virginia Zeani, Renee Fleming, Joyce DiDonato, Maria Callas, Renata Scotto, and Luciano Pavarotti.
She simply hopes to be able to inspire other young artists to achieve anything they may wish to accomplish. Her life has been filled with music for as long as she can remember and she wishes to, one day, perform at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City and the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan, Italy.
